i enjoyed the quiet woodland setting of the park, away from the main road. the location proved convenient for visiting various attractions in cornwall. the central heating worked well, keeping the caravan comfortable. the bed was especially comfy.
parking was sometimes a little difficult , as i couldn't park directly next to the caravan.

the park included a pool and flume , but i didn't test these facilities. there were usual entertainment facilities , but i did not use these. help arrived quickly after i asked about the heating system.

the lodge was very clean and spacious upon arrival. the master bedroom featured an en suite bathroom , a good amenity. the kitchen contained a dishwasher and a very good fridge freezer. central heating was available throughout the lodge.

reception staff were friendly and very helpful during my arrival. although no instructions were available for the heating system , help arrived very promptly. i appreciated the quick response i got from staff when i requested assistance with the heating.

the on-site shop was well-stocked , but it closed at 7pm. i did not test the restaurant as it was only open from 6-8pm , requiring pre-booking. drinks were decently priced for a holiday park at the bar area.

the location offers a wooded area for relaxation. the local shop has a good selection of food and drinks at reasonable prices. there is a bus stop near the park entrance, it provides easy access to local attractions.
the restaurant sometimes closes earlier than scheduled.

the lodge included two bathrooms. one bathroom even had a bathtub next to the shower! the location is perfect, nestled among the trees, with well kept lawns i thought.
a minor issue, the outside of the chalet could have used a little cleaning, it's true.

i had the steak at the clubhouse restaurant two evenings. the menu had a great selection. the steak was sirloin and it was cooked just the way i wanted it.
